Tonight is going to be fun. Two and a half days of baking leads to one fun night of delivering cookies. I always love this part. I get a quick visit with friends I don’t get to see often enough, and I clear out a bunch of cookies that I don’t need tempting me. Then, if it’s not too late, we get to drive around looking at Christmas lights. Now that’s the Christmas feeling I was looking for! For those of you who don’t bake but would still like the feeling of delivering treats to friends, grab a box of Ding Dongs or Twinkies, slap a bow on it and show up unannounced at your friends door. You will definitely get a good laugh out of that.

Murphy Anderson is coming home for Christmas…
And as soon as she arrives, she’s putting the family ranch on the market. Her plan is to get in, get out, and head back to the city, where she belongs. Growing up on the hardscrabble property next door to the prosperous Marvell Ranch, and being constantly reminded of everything she didn’t have, left her with no love for ranching, or her handsome neighbors — especially Cody Marvell, who always rubbed her the wrong way. And maybe that’s why, when Cody shows an interest in the ranch, she hesitates to sell.
Cody Marvell has a way with people… unless that person is Murphy Anderson. Cody never understood what she was dealing with when they were younger. Murphy had a hard time while growing up, with no mom and a cold-hearted father. He made some mistakes, which he now regrets. He wants her ranch, and more than that, he wants her.
When a Christmas flood makes Murphy’s home uninhabitable, he invites her to stay at the Marvell Ranch. With the help of country Christmas magic, Cody hopes she’ll start to see him with new eyes.

November, 1944.
As the Germans pursue their last great offensive in the Ardennes in an effort to drive a wedge between the British and American land forces and to capture the vital port of Antwerp, the once all-powerful Luftwaffe are being systematically swept from the skies by the RAF and USAAF.
Based at Eindhoven, Wing Commander George Yeoman, DSO, DFC, DFM, is unknowingly pitting the hard-won skills of his squadron of Hawker Tempests — the RAF’S fastest and most effective fighters — against his wily old enemy, Oberstleutnant Joachim Richter, who commands the élite Jagdgeschwader 66.
Squadron leader Tim Phelan and the remarkably brave Simon Wynne-Williams, who has recently been discharged from the Burns Unit at East Grinstead, are part of a fearless operational squadron determined to make the mission a success.
Whether that means that they will return home is another matter… they never lose sight of their target.
But Yeoman knows his luck cannot hold out much longer.
The Battle of the Ardennes stretches out relentlessly and prospects seem bleak.
In cut-and-thrust combat high over the snow-covered land, Yeoman’s Tempests are battling as much against the common enemy of cruel weather and nervous strain as against Richter’s Focke-Wulfs.
And when Yeoman is forced to crash-land in enemy territory, he is certain of only one thing: instant, fiery death.
For even if he survives the landing, the rest of his section must blow up the remains of his aircraft to prevent the new British radar equipment falling into enemy hands…

The Undying Viking (Merging Worlds Book 1)
by I. C. Shadows
(162 Reviews)
Genre: Teen & Young Adult
FREE for a limited time
For over a century, the Vikings were the most feared fighting force the world had ever seen — none greater than Holger the Dane.
Having won all the wars of his time, the undefeated Viking warrior is said never to have died. Instead, legends say he sleeps, his body turned into a mighty stone statue residing deep within the casemates of Castle Kronborg. Clad in armor, with sword and shield at the ready, Holger remains in an enchanted sleep–ever with one eye open–and only to awake should danger ever rise again to threaten his beloved Denmark.
And on that day, stone will again turn to flesh — and the roar of the Viking will be heard and felt in all the lands of the world once more.
Modern-day everyman Markus Trygg lives a relatively routine and mundane existence. But that won’t matter one bit when he’s forced to take part in an investigation looking into a series of inexplicable mass deaths throughout Denmark.
Enter Holger the Dane, a savage barbarian with whom Markus shares nothing in common — except only Markus can understand him. Together, the unlikely pair will battle an undead scourge, hellbent on some dark murderous purpose — and one that seems to center around a lone — and extraordinary — survivor.
Eventually, the quest to save his world will take them to Avalon, the land of magic, where Markus will come face-to-face with beasts and monsters of myth and legend. In order to survive, the ever-reluctant Markus will have no choice but to accept some hard truths not only about the world he lives in — but himself, as well.

Control Your Clutter!: You don’t have to get rid of EVERYTHING! Even hoarders will succeed with this method!
by Theresa Smith
(114 Reviews)
Genre: Health, Fitness & Dieting | Crafts, Hobbies & Home
FREE for a limited time
“Control Your Clutter!” is a book that is going to show you how to gain control of the clutter in your house so you can reclaim a calm, stress-free life. The method in this book works even if you are a hoarder! For the person with just a little clutter to an all out pack rat who hasn’t thrown anything away for thirty years, this book has the solution to your problem.
Do you hide and stay away from the windows when someone is knocking at your door? Do you have to clear away a place to sit when your family comes to visit? Even if the last time you saw your floor was ten years ago, this book will work for you!
Even the person who faces eviction due to their hoarding ways will be able to follow these steps and dig themselves out of their situation.
In this book, I am going to give instructions about how to deal with your clutter. Surprisingly, I am not going to tell you to get rid of everything. I come from a very poor background, and I must tell you that I understand hanging on to something in case you need it again. After all, it doesn’t make sense to throw something out and then turn around and buy it again the next time you need it.
I am going to ask you to make some hard decisions about whether or not you really need each item you come across. As usual, you will either donate the stuff you don’t need, sell it, or throw it in the trash if it has no value. But I am going to give you the option to organize the things you can’t part with so that they are no longer clutter even if you keep them.
This book breaks all of the barriers a person has to getting their life back in order. Because I allow you to choose to keep your possessions, it helps take away the fear of losing everything. It will help you be able to let go of more things during the process and then rationalize getting rid of more things you saved after a generous period of time. It is similar to pulling the band-aid off slowly.
Whatever your relationship is with your possessions, this book will be able to help you reclaim your home and your life! If you don’t read this book now, where will you be next week, next month or next year? I promise this method is the least painful way I know to gain control of your clutter.
