I am sick as a dog. I am coughing, aching, my chest hurts so bad I can barley move, my voice is gone, and I couldn’t be happier about it. We just got back from my birthday trip to Disney World in Florida, and the sickness hit me a few hours after I got home. SHWEET! My plans for today were to do nothing, so it works out great for me. It was my first trip to Disney World and OH MY GOSH it was fantastic. We were lucky enough to be able to get on every single ride that we wanted to go on, including the soft opening of the brand new Tron ride. I hate scary rides, and I was beyond scared to go on it. I did it anyways and I have no regrets. There was nothing scary about it, it was just a very fast thrilling ride. My pride is what got me on the ride. There were so many little kids in line, I had to be braver than a little kid. It is also possible they had no idea what they were in line for, but either way I had an ego to protect. Usually my ego gets me in trouble, thankfully this time I used it for good. Now off to the couch to let the illness punish me. Seriously couldn’t be happier!

A gentle breeze blew her blonde hair across her face, her glazed eyes staring blankly into the sunset. Her small frame looked lost hanging from the large oak tree. On the branch next to her was a worn child’s rope swing. She looked too young and beautiful to be dead.
When the body of a woman is found hanging from a tree in her front garden, rookie Detective Morgan Brookes is first on the scene. But Olivia Potter is past saving. And when her husband and daughters cannot be traced, Morgan knows there is more to this tragedy. And then she finds them. Lying huddled together in the dark basement, each of their faces covered with a small cotton cloth, their bodies cold to the touch.
But as Morgan kneels beside the family, she realises that one of the girls is still breathing. As she holds Bronte’s fragile hand in hers, begging her to hold on, she vows to find out who has done this.
Every day Morgan wakes at 4.25 a.m., her old insomnia now mixed with a new fixation on the case. But every clue about the murdered family leads to a dead end. Until, trawling through old files, she discovers a link to a cold case from years ago. Another family was found murdered, their innocent faces covered with white cloths.
When Morgan returns to the scene of the crime to discover more about this forgotten case, she finds another body. With Bronte still unconscious in hospital, Morgan must act fast to solve this case before the killer returns for the girl left alive…
A chilling and gripping crime thriller that will have fans of Angela Marsons, Rachel Abbott and Rachel Caine glued to the page.

THE WAY OF THE CHURCH – VOLUME ONE: Understanding the Eight Aspects of the Church from the Biblical Point of View (The Church Series Book 1)
by Sylvanus Godspower
(1 Review)
Genre: Religion & Spirituality
FREE for a limited time
The church is a mystery that cannot be understood unless the Heavenly Father showers abundant grace upon us and open the eyes of our hearts to behold it. Everything about the church is a mystery. As Christ is a mystery and it requires abundant grace for a person to know Him and give himself to Him, so is the church He is building. The church is indeed a mystery that cannot be understood unless the Heavenly Father showers abundant grace upon us and open the eyes of our hearts to behold it.
In this book, the Lord has blessed His body with a rich and healthy understanding of the eight major aspects of the church. These are:
• The church, the constitution of the saved ones.
• The church, the organization of the early apostles.
• The church, how the early believers fellowship.
• The church, doctrine, and teaching.
• The church, the body of Christ.
• The church, offerings, and donations.
• The church, teamworking in the Lord’s work.
• The church, authority, and leadership.
This book is divided into two volumes. The first volume covers the first four aspects of the church as listed above and the second volume also covers the last four.
It is important to note that we will be judged according to the word of God and our ministries will be measured by the prototypical ministry of our Lord Jesus, and the apostles of old. Therefore, if our lives are not in line with the word, and our ministries are below the standard set by Jesus and the early apostles, we will lose the reward. As these are certain, we must take caution not to practice anything that is less or more than what the Bible teaches. All that the Lord requires from us, both in words and conduct has been practiced by our forefathers and these are recorded in the Bible. Hence, if we desire to know the truth about the various aspects of the church, then we must be diligent to read the Bible and look back on the ministry of the early apostles.
