I bought a fish, and he is bringing out the crazy in me. A few weeks ago, at a garage sale, I picked up one of those tanks that you put plants on the top section and fish in the tank below. The idea is the fish will poop and you will get great looking plants. Seemed like a cool idea and for $5 worth a try. I wanted to keep the idea super cheap though just in case I got bored with it. So I brought it home, added a little gravel and plants I had around the house. After all was set up and the water was good, I added a Betta fish. After a day or two I noticed the fish looked a little sad, so I added some light. That perked him up. Unfortunately, he looked bored. Next I added a few Betta Beads for him to play with. The package of Betta beads said it would “Enrich his life”. I might have been lied to. Back to the store I went and got him a ceramic pineapple house and a yellow submarine to swim through. This kept Slim Shady (because he is slim) happy for a few days, but soon he became sluggish again. The plants weren’t impressing me, and Slim was sad again, so I decided to ditch the plant tank and go for a real 3.5 gallon fish tank. Slim was thrilled with his new pad. He swam around happily and all was good. This new glee did not last. Maybe he needed a heater. After a little shopping on Amazon, an new heater was in his tank in two days. Again, he was happy. That was two days ago. This morning he seems a bit down again. Maybe he needs a few friends.

Some people call me an assassin, personally, I prefer the term bounty hunter.
In a world where magic is hidden from the general population, I’m hired to keep our secrets safe and take care of rogues by whatever means necessary.
When I accidentally targeted the wrong person, the Alliance offered me a deal — go to jail or work for them. Their first official request was to locate a vampire I thought I killed years ago. By the time I found him, he was going to wish he had stayed dead.
Supernatural Slayer is an action-packed urban fantasy romp through Barcelona with an assorted cast of witches, vampires, and shifters. It may also feature a snarky troll or two.
“No human beings were harmed in the writing of this book — only supernaturals.”

Former British secret agent Bromo Perkins’ bid for a quiet life as a one-man travel agency in Melbourne is about to explode…
Bromo survives mainly on coffee and malt whisky and blends street-wise hardness with a soft touch with the ladies.
But before he can say ‘Laphroaig’ events are swirling around him and he doesn’t know why – starting with a murdered girl, Tamsyn, who is found to have swallowed diamonds.
Why had she been taken under the wing of one of Bromo’s lady loves who then directs him to a seedy diamond merchant?
Why does the jeweller warn him off and who would mug Bromo shortly after?
And why are there youths stalking him, delivering cryptic messages attached to dodgy diamonds and taking their orders from a gun-toting undercover agent using past liaisons to coerce him into action?
It is a whirlpool with no visible source.
And Bromo’s past seems set to haunt him. When all he wants is to be left alone why are his former masters so closely watching him?
They may have unjustly banished him to the far side of the globe for one small stuff-up, but they have never forgotten him – or set him free.
The tentacles of intrigue stretch far beyond his adopted city in Australia – back to London and across the Indian Ocean to the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya in civil war-torn Sri Lanka.
He struggles to decipher events – from his early contacts with the Sri Lankans, the explosive raid on their café and the warning from the jeweller, a bruising hit-run attack and an encounter with the enigmatic Mr Blood.
Bromo also experiences an emotional reunion with his daughter Jess, who is committed to the worldwide war on a deadly diamond trade…
Death by Diamonds is a gripping thriller, filled with mystery, suspense and violence on an international scale.
