BIG NEWS! I love big news, and today I have a wonderful announcement. Liz and Ardy, the two lizards living in a rock pile in my front yard, are expecting! Yup. The ultimate validation that I made a nice little habitat for wildlife in my yard. The only downside is that we won’t see them hatch for another ten weeks. UGH! I hate waiting. That is a seriously long time. I have marked on my calendar that Liz will have having September babies. I really wish I could see the eggs, but I will just have to show self control and let nature do it’s thing uninterrupted. I am very impatient, but luckily I still have three Monarch caterpillars to keep me occupied. Two have already turned into chrysalis and the last one is just about to. That last one seems a bit hesitant to start the change. I think he sees all the tasty food and wants to eat as much as he can before his big day. I get it. I love eating as well.

A carton of ice cream and an infomercial changed my life…
Drive, focus, and a solid plan for my future never left time for any of the fun things in school. Not that it mattered, guys never looked at the tall chubby nerdy girl.
And they still don’t, now that I’m a thirty-something professional woman. Not that I give them a chance working six days a week and spending most of the seventh doing laundry or watching movies with my best friend. How did the perfect life become boring?
When my best friend agrees to jump into the exciting unknown with me, endless opportunities appear.
None of them make my heart flutter until I see him. Kent, a luxury hotel manager, is everything I could ever dream of in a man. Kind, thoughtful, a brilliant businessman, and game to join into any zany adventure I come up with. Not to mention he’s taller than me when I wear heels.
A guy like that would never like a girl like me…
This trilogy is a slow burn romance, but Liz will get her happily ever after… eventually.

I hunt dragons.
Well, not really, I use my camera and I manage to get some awesome pics. Too bad everyone else is terrified of them.
Though, I guess given my history of doing anything for an adrenaline rush, people shouldn’t be surprised that I spend every weekend scaling the mountains in Yellowstone in the hopes that I can get close to one.
What people don’t know is that I’m a thrill seeking junkie so that I don’t have to think about the man from my past who destroyed me.
When his doppelganger shows up at the coffee shop where I work, I try to hide, but he won’t leave me alone because he wants to hunt down the dragons with me.
Heck, no.
But then people in the park start dying and everyone thinks it’s the dragons. I have to prove that it’s not which means I might have to trust the one man I can’t bear to look at.
If I don’t, the dragons might be destroyed forever…
