Yesterday we took the baby bassets to Six Flags for a few rides, and to see the Halloween decorations. It was a beautiful warm Fall day and the whole family was having a great time. My oldest was so proud of himself because he was brave enough to go on the scariest roller coaster rides. OH NOT WITH ME! Please don’t think I am brave enough. Nope.. that is a job for the cool aunt and uncle. I am not sure if I won’t go because of fear, or I just don’t like the feeling of my brain being shaken around so much. I know my brain and I don’t always get along, but that doesn’t mean I want to abuse it. My youngest had no desire to go on the big rides, so we enjoyed a few mellow rides that don’t try to take your lunch from you. I paid for that lunch. How dare you try to take it from me! The swings are pleasant enough, but the ones where you spin around in a bucket are dreadful. I had no idea my baby was so strong and could spin that bucket to another dimension. BLEGH!!! My boys were smiling from ear to ear, but that quickly faded when the zombies were released out into the park. Lots of them… like A LOT…with chainsaws. The tears were the signal that it was time to go. Perfect! Thank you very much Mr. Zombie. You just saved me a fight to convince the baby bassets it was time to leave.
