It really is the little things that make me a happy bee mom. Yesterday I watched the swarm I caught last spring, clear out pieces of the rubber band that I had used to secure their comb on a frame when I separated it from the top of the cover. That means there is a lot of progress happening in the hive. I am hoping to do a hive inspection this week with my partner in crime, since it will be a hot week. It would most likely be the last time I go in before next spring. I am really hoping to end this season on a good note.

When she unexpectedly inherits her aunt’s wedding planning business, Paisley leaves the glamour of Los Angeles for a charming small town in Arkansas. Thinking she’ll arrive in Sugar Creek and liquidate the moldy property, Paisley’s shocked to find Enchanted Events has experienced a major makeover and is now the place for brides. She’s got two months to keep Enchanted Events afloat if she wants to sell and rekindle her music career with the profits.
Paisley’s tossed into a world of vows and venues, but her most difficult challenge comes in the form of one demanding bride. When this Bridezilla’s found facedown in her cake, all fingers point to Paisley as the prime murder suspect. And she does not look good in prison orange.
This former pop princess will need the help of her gun-toting, ex-CIA grandmother and her handsome neighbor, Beau Hudson, to unravel the mystery and clear her good name. As she and her unruly posse dig into Bridezilla’s life, she discovers the woman had a long list of enemies. The closer Paisley gets to the truth, the more her own life is in danger.

Inspired by Art: A Peek at Bathsheba (The David Chronicles Book 7)
by Uvi Poznansky
(11 Reviews)
Genre: Arts & Photography
FREE for a limited time
Inspired by Art: A Peek at Bathsheba is a collection of art throughout the ages, around the story of David. This volume focuses on the most torrid love affair ever told: David’s forbidden love affair with Bathsheba and his attempt to cover it up.
These amazing sculptures, paintings, etchings, and manuscripts inspired the author to write The David Chronicles, a series of three volumes, the second of which is A Peek at Bathsheba, where she imagines the love affair and the ensuing scandal. Besides being an artist and having worked as an architect, she taught art history, and this collection served as the basis for a research course analyzing the contrasts in viewpoints around the biblical story.
This collection is arranged not by artist, nor by artistic style or era, but rather by the story moment-by-moment, blow-by-blow, as imagined by various artists. Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Chagall, Picasso, and Jan Steen to name but a few.
