You just never truly appreciate your bed until you come back from camping. Let’s be clear. I am by no means roughing it. We bought a cute pop-up trailer a few years ago, and the little thing is a dream. We no longer sleep in a tent on the hard ground in sleeping bags that are always too hot/cold. I never could figure out how something can be both hot and cold, but sleeping bags are magical like that. The whole family had a blast this weekend swimming in the river, biking, and roasting marshmallows. These are memories that I will cherish forever, but I love my bed. I really REALLY love my bed. It’s so soft and clean, with no bugs. I’m even thinking of writing a love poem about my bed and mailing it to my bed, so it feels special. I want it to know how much I appreciate it and will try my best let it know every day how awesome it is. I should go spend some quality time with it. Maybe read it a story. I also love my shower….

When Helsing XII, the latest in the long and illustrious line of brave demon-hunters dies in combat, no-one would have expected his ring of power to be handed down to an idiot.

Least of all said idiot; Brian Trelawney, the most hapless car salesman in the whole of Cornwall.

With no redeeming features bar his towering height, Brian finds himself thrust into a strange and often terrifying world of vampires, banshees and all other Things That Go Bump In The Night. Trained, after a fashion, by the eccentric Masters, and equipped with strange weapons, Brian is sent into battle as the unwitting savior of mankind.

Accompanied by his friend Neil, a man oddly enough far more appropriate for the role of Helsing, Brian must bumble his way through his first mission; placating a terrifying banshee whose keening wailing is keeping the residents of Bodmin from their beauty sleep.

Would you like to know what the Old Testament (Pentateuch) is all about from a Jewish point of view? This book reveals the morals, ethics, and ideas behind the stories and commandments of one of the oldest books in the history of mankind – a book that serves as the foundation of Jewish and Christian religion. Given the difficult Hebrew in which the Old Testament was written and how challenging it is to translate and to explain, the author wanted to offer to the reader the simple meaning of the text (p’shat) in accessible and friendly language.
