Whoever came up with the phrase, “As exciting as watching concrete harden” obviously has never watched concrete harden, because its pretty darn exciting. I was filled with joy and glee when we had concrete poured on the side walkway of our house a few years back. It changed the whole function of the yard. Exciting stuff, see? I bet that same person would not find watching your street get repaved exciting either. Well that is what’s happening today. The boys and I, as well as a few neighbors have set-up chairs to watch. Sipping lemonade and watching all the action. It’s an awesome summer day!
