Every morning and every night my round little guinea pigs whistle for me to feed them. They get pretty demanding to. If anyone else were to whistle at me to feed them I would be so offended, but coming from those short little fur balls it’s kinda cute. I try to keep to a pretty strict feeding schedule with all of these little critters, so that they don’t go too long between feedings, but that doesn’t mean they don’t still ask me to feed them early…loudly. Coco and Henry are getting used to me now. I can finally pet their noses, while they are in the cage, without them running and hiding. Milton is still scared as heck of me. I try to bribe him with treats, but he never falls for it. What kind of piggie won’t be bribed with food? Food is the only trick I have up my sleeve with these guys. I know there is always time, but I have no patience for that.

“Continued brilliance. The characters will make you laugh and cry and fume while you’re reading.” Colin Quinn
PLEASE NOTE: Although this book is part of the IRISH LOTTERY SERIES, there is no cliffhanger. It is true that the characters get older as the series progresses, but each book is a complete story, and can be enjoyed without having read the previous book.
With a family like this, who wouldn’t need absinthe?
Fionnuala Flood, mother of seven unruly thugs, takes stock of her life on her 45th birthday, and it couldn’t be more of a misery. She’s been fired from the corner shop for stealing, her two oldest sons are in prison, her husband’s hands are fondling more than frozen fish at the packing plant, and her lesbian daughter has just published a book exposing the family’s attempts to get their claws into Auntie Ursula Barnett’s lottery winnings the year before. Daughter Dymphna, unwed mother, has just been kicked out of her boyfriend’s house, adding two more mouths to feed.
Desperate to raise money to travel to Malta for the launch party and wreak havoc, Fionnuala puts into motion a get-rich-quick scheme that preys on the weaknesses of others and will hopefully add a bit of luxury to her empty coal bin of a life. The scam, however, unleashes dark secrets that bring Ursula back to town for a final showdown.
Hand In The Till is a darkly comic look at revenge, retribution and, perhaps, reconciliation. With a shot of absinthe.

Use These Powerful Minimalist Tips To Free Your Mind, Eliminate Clutter And Increase Your Productivity
Along with all the benefits of living in a wealthy, modern world have come some unintended side effects that it is unlikely that our forefathers would have anticipated. Our lives have become cluttered both in a physical and mental sense by simple excess and we are forced to suddenly deal with having too much. Our closets, garages and desks are crammed to the maximum whilst our minds are swamped with tasks that should be done but are also being bombarded by social media, television and professional pressures.
Rather than deal with the burgeoning problem many of us have simply ignored the situation in the vain hope that it will simply go away; after all, having a closet so jammed with clothes that you are no longer sure what is in there or a to do list that is so long that you won’t complete it if you live to be a hundred is not really a life threatening scenario. In fact what researchers are now learning is that this accumulation of both material goods and unresolved mental tasks is creating high levels of anxiety that can have detrimental effects on both mental and physical wellbeing. The size of the task before us simply becomes so overwhelming that we ignore it and it is that nagging feeling that we should be doing something that causes the problems.
The object of this book is to set you on a course to de-cluttering both your physical and mental space so that you can focus more on what is really important and free yourself to lead a happier and more productive lifestyle. The art of simplifying is not necessarily simple in itself but it will become that way as you break down the tasks ahead of you into smaller more manageable chunks. The reward for doing this will be a much deeper sense of inner peace and a greater ability to tackle those areas of your life that really matter.
Inside you’ll find
The secrets of minimalism that will allow you to increase your productivity in an ever changing world
