I am very excited to say that this Tuesday a very experienced beekeeper is coming to look at the three beehives that my partner in crime and I have. Up until now we have been going off of what we had learned from the class we took, YouTube Videos, and Google. Although the hives have been doing quite well (I think), I am very happy that someones who has been working with bees for over thirty years will have a look at them. He has also offered us another hive, but one that presents a huge challenge that we will have to bring in a fourth person to tackle. More on that one later. Sadly Rachael (My partner in Crime) will not be able to join us, and that is a bit worrisome for me. I am sure the gentleman will give me tons of information and I am going to forget most of it. I will bring a notebook and camera. That should help. Rachael has excellent memory and if you tell her something once she remembers it forever. I can lift heavy things. I am hoping this will also get my mind off Christmas.
