Time to burn down the tomato plants. We had a good run, but it’s over. Last night, before it was even dark, I found my pup Jethro barking at the tomato plants. I was hoping it was a bird, but no such luck. Sitting on the top of a beautiful ripe tomato was a rat. A cute, fuzzy rat. Bold to. I went back in the house, grabbed my cell phone, went back to where my dog was still barking and took a picture of the little fella to show hubby. It’s like my garden of Eden is now destroyed. Knowledge has turned my sanctuary into a gross pit of ickiness. Okay…I’m a little dramatic, but seriously….eeewww.
